About the BCC Leads Group

Who are we?

We are a dynamic, innovative and friendly group of mostly sole proprietors and small business owners, numbering 25 to 30 members, who meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 11:30 at the Boulder Chamber of Commerce in Boulder CO at the corner of Pearl St and Folsom St. Each business category has a sole representative.

Our purpose

• To enhance the growth of members’ businesses by providing qualified business referrals (leads).
• To provide a forum for the discussion of issues which businesses commonly encounter.

Meeting format

• 30 second introduction: introduce yourself and your business
• Two 12 minute presentations: elaborate on the nature of your business, or share concerns and take feedback and new ideas from the group (Guidelines for presentation)
• Testimonials: share your own positive experience of another member’s service or product
• Leads: draw from your own network to pass qualified referrals to as many members as possible

Socializing

Each meeting features a 5 minute “Getting To Know You” talk. Once per quarter, we meet at a restaurant for lunch. Evening socials are planned 2 or 3 times a year.

Giving Back to the Community

At holiday time, we make donations of time and money to individuals and groups in our community.  In 2010 we donated $800 dollars to the Four Mile Fire Relief Fund and $400 to other area non-profit organizations.

Visiting

Guests are allowed two free visits. We invite you to join us for a meeting or two, and to consider this; when you join a group of 25 people each with their own considerable network of family and friends, you have instantly acquired a greatly expanded sales force for your own business.
